ENG/ Both the origin of matter in the universe as well as the creation of a logistics hall involve a great amount of energy that is destined to blow up. Wrecks are slowly flying around the warehouses as time irrecoverably slows down. The dreary repetitiveness of manual labour and the monotony of the dry air are clearly visible on the night photograph of a warehouse. The interconnected realities seem like a scene from an action movie. We see shards of mathematical patterns connecting these two worlds as if science and technology could shed light on our present problems and at the same time hide the answer to what our place in the system means.
Cardboard boxes fixed to the walls are tightly clasped by a dibond metal construction. There are massive objects accompanying the paintings on boards in technicist frames. Exhibited photographs offer us a detailed view into the focal point of the problem. Patterns taken from topological mathematics layered on the shiny paintings and photographs placed in the installation might be our strongest clue. But if we think we managed to untangle the situation, we are
wrong. Shots of the warehouses are reminders of the drudging work in the world of mass production. The period of a strict lockdown is proving to be beneficial for product demand and collection of personal data. Network servers now have a larger carbon footprint than flights to exotic destinations. Amazon is polluting as much as the whole country of Norway. Is life in isolation just another unconscious greenwashing? Are we simply surrounding ourselves at home with cardboard boxes or will there come a time when we use them to create our own pilot drones?

CZ/ Při vzniku první hmoty ve vesmíru, stejně tak jako při stvoření lobbistické haly, vzniká obrovské množství energie, která nakonec exploduje. Trosky předmětů pomalu létají po skladišti a čas se nenávratně zpomaluje. Pochmurná cykličnost manuální práce a monotónnost suchého ovzduší evokuje fotografie z nočního skladiště. Propojení realit připomíná scénu z akčního filmu. Uvnitř něj nalézáme střípky matematických obrazců, které spojují tyto dva světy, jakoby věda a technika uměly objasnit problémy současnosti a zároveň nám v sobě skryly odpověď na to, co pro tento systém vlastně znamenáme.
Kartonové krabice upevněné ke zdi pevně svírá železná konstrukce dibondů. Masivní objekty doplňují malby na deskách v technicistních rámech. Instalované fotografie nabízí detailní pohled do ohniska problému. Obrazce převzaté z topologické matematiky navrstvené na lesklých formátech obrazů a fotografií umístěných v instalaci jsou nejspíše tím úplně nejsilnějším vodítkem, ale pokud máme za to, že jsme uzel rozpletli, jsme na omylu. Snímky z hal slouží jako připomínkové indexy namáhavé práce ze svět masové produkce. Období tvrdého lockdownu se ukazuje být ideálním pro vylepšenou poptávku zboží, sběry dat a mrazivé osobní algoritmy. Datové sítě nyní vyprodukují větší uhlíkovou stopu, nežli lety do exotických zemí a Amazon vykazuje stejné znečištění jako celé Norsko. Je snad život v izolaci jen další greenwashingová nevědomost a my se v bezpečí svých domovů obklopujeme kartonovými krabicemi, nebo nastane čas, kdy si z nich sami vyrobíme pilotní drony?
